Sasanian Empire
The Sasanian Empire, founded in 224 AD, was a powerful Middle Eastern empire known for its centralized administration, military strength, and rich culture. It encompassed a vast territory stretching from the eastern Mediterranean all the way to Pakistan. The Sasanians promoted Zoroastrianism, an ancient fire-based religion centered around the eternal fight between good and evil. Weakened by internal strife and Arab invasions, the empire fell in 651 AD.
